Chamber awards are now open for business


It’s one of the hottest dates on the business calendar and Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber is calling on businesses across South Yorkshire to celebrate their success over the past 12 months by entering the 2019 Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards. Now in its tenth year, the business awards will


see 12 different awards up for grabs including two brand new awards which recognise best use of technology, and workplace wellbeing. One lucky winner will receive the highly


coveted crown of Business of the Year, whilst the awards will also recognise the contribution of charities, as well as companies celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2019. All businesses with an ‘S’ postcode, as well as members of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber, are eligible to enter the awards and an application form can be downloaded from the business awards website: www.brawards.co.uk The ceremony will return to Magna Science &


Adventure Centre on Friday, 18 October and will be hosted by local actor and star of Life on Mars and Emmerdale, Dean Andrews. Lisa Pogson (pictured), President of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, said:
