wave of exceptional talent and impressive career success stories with both genders making immense contributions to the transport and logistics industries. It has been proven time and again that gender diverse teams make better business decisions, which is why introducing more female talent to a male-dominated industry is so essential. The collaboration of ideas, fusion of knowledge and cross-pollination of skills is what is needed for the growth of any business.”

How to do business in South-East Asia

On 23 May, as part of the widening international trade offer, Doncaster Chamber hosted a Doing Business in South-East Asia event to support local businesses already trading overseas and those considering expanding to new horizons. The morning event focused on three keynote

speakers with a wide and varied experience of doing business within the region including where to start, and understanding local laws and political and cultural differences to enable Doncaster businesses to build strong trading relationships across South-East Asia. Lynda Monaghan, Lead International Trade
