SIGNATURE SERVE Brockmans’

High summer time and the living is easy. So perhaps this is a moment to keep things simple and pared back.

Brockmans Gin, the gin like no other, lends itself to so many glorious cocktails. yet simple serves retain their popularity and when well-made can delight your guests.

Let’s start with the simplest serve of all. Gin. That’s it. Brockmans Gin, neat over ice. Allow your guests to explore the sensual, intensely smooth and subtle complexity of this beautifully made gin. Serve in a chilled glass, poured over ice, and garnished with a couple of blueberries.

Next up, the perennial summer favourite, the G&T.

Everyone thinks they know how

to make it. Most don’t. Create the perfect serve Brockmans Gin and tonic and see their eyes light up.

THE ESSENTIALS ARE FEW BUT IMPORTANT

• Take a chilled copa glass; • Fill with ice, to the brim;

• Stir and pour off the surplus water;

• Then pour over 50ml of this favourite gin;

• Pour chilled premium tonic water of your choice, maintaining the

effervescence by pouring slowly down the length of a swizzle or bar spoon.

The magic happens with this perfect serve when you pare some pink grapefruit zest, capturing the oils from the peel as you prepare this over the glass.

Add a couple of blueberries to provide a visual signifier that blueberries (as well as blackberries) are one of the outstanding notes in this gin.

For a slight variation on a G&T, muddle some blueberries and blackberries in the glass before adding the ice. The berries create an intriguing purple cloud as you add the rest of the ingredients.
