GOING GLOBAL
Eco-friendly baby brand Bambino Mio is 25th in the annual Sunday Times SME Export Track 100 league table which ranks Britain’s small and medium-sized private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the family
business’ continued year-on-year growth and positive international performance. Founder and managing director Guy Schanschieff
commented: “We’re absolutely delighted by this achievement. The global growth shows there is a clear trend for the reusable nappy product category.” This is the first time Bambino Mio has
featured in the Export Track 100 league table. Over the past three years, the brand has experienced significant growth in export markets around the world such as Germany, France, Italy, Australia and the United States. Schanschieff continued: “We’re not

TRAINING GOES INTERNATIONAL
An independent training and development consultancy travelled more than 4,500 miles to deliver one of its latest courses. Northampton-based Beyond
Theory visited Ghana in June to deliver training for large paint distribution firm Coral Paints. Coral Paints initially made
contact because it was impressed with Beyond Theory’s values, ILM accreditation and Chamber membership, which it promotes on its company website. The Ghanaian firm sent nine of
their managers for training with the consultancy in London and then invited Beyond Theory director Paul Beesley and associate trainer Nick Skillett back to Ghana to lead a seminar on sales, customer care and teamwork, for 50 members of their frontline staff, sales and marketing team.
The Ghana training event Paul said: “We were invited to
Ghana to help the staff increase their understanding of their customer experience and to support a major sales and marketing campaign they were running. “Our hosts were superb and the
training was very well received – at the end of the course all the staff got to their feet and sang us a song to thank us.
“We set up our training
consultancy to help small businesses in Northamptonshire but it’s fantastic to know our reputation is growing internationally. It’s great to share our knowledge with companies abroad and to enhance our experience of working with international companies.”
