Business Focus HOLLINGBOURNE BARBERS CELEBRATES 1ST ANNIVERSARY
THE owner of Rock Paper Scissors Barbers, located in the heart of Hollingbourne village, is celebrating her first year in business.
Established in a Grade II listed building, this buzzing barbershop has won a reputation for providing a variety of quality male grooming services. The shop, described as a fresh take on a traditional barbers, was completely refurbished with vintage chairs and quirky decor exactly 1 year ago when it was transformed by young business owner Amba Waghorn.
After completing her extensive training at the world renowned London School of Barbering, Amba continued to work in London based shops. She says, “After completing my course I felt it was imperative that I continued to develop my skills so I chose to work in London amongst some of the best barbers in the game. This allowed me to fulfil one of my dreams of owning my own shop in spite of my age! I hope to inspire young people like myself that anything is possible no matter what your age.”
A year on from the venture Rock Paper Scissors Barbers has managed to build a community into the barbers by helping to keep their customers looking their best. As she celebrates her anniversary, Amba thanked her customers. “I would like to thank each and every one of my incredibly loyal clients that have walked through the door and supported me over this past year. “I hope that my business continues to grow and look forward to welcoming many more new faces from both Hollingbourne and the surrounding area.”
