One-piece stemware is specifically designed for high-turnover, fast-paced restaurant operations where safety and durability are of utmost importance – but where style really counts, too.
ONE-PIECE STEMWARE One-piece stemware is inherently stronger than other stemware. Formed from one piece of glass, there are no weak points where stem and/or foot are joined with bowls. The manufacturing process produces a rim with a minimum bead and a rounded foot which are more resistant to unsightly chipping. The glass is also designed to be thicker at the contact points for added strength needed in rigorous handling. Longer product life means more savings and more profit per serving for operators. DELICACY It is possible to combine style with durability as the new one-piece stemware of the Delicacy collection clearly demonstrates. The range comprises of four wine glasses in 25cl, 35cl, 44cl and 55cl sizes. They are all ‘one-piece tough’ making this range ideal for busy restaurants, wine bars, pubs as well as a good fit for banqueting. The Delicacy collection benefits from Libbey’s exclusive ‘Lifetime Rim & Foot’ warranty, which means that should they chip, they will be replaced without quibble. List prices are £3.10 each for smaller glasses and £3.15 for the larger ones. The range pairs well with the flute from the Perception collection at £2.14.
BRILLIANCE AND REFINEMENT Delicacy is the very latest stemware from Libbey, but two other Libbey one- piece ranges are worthy of mention and would suit the same casual dining
sectors of the market - Brilliance and Refinement. Like Delicacy, they are also covered by Libbey’s exclusive ‘Lifetime Rim & Foot’ warranty. The bowl sizes are similar, but the styles are very different, with each collection also featuring a flute. Prices start at £3.20 for the 25cl Brilliance wine glass and at £3.54 for the Refinement 35cl glass.
