NEWS Knock Your Socks Off! Free footwear with pints of Brakspear ale

Selected Brakspear pubs are offering their loyal customers a new, limited-edition gift over the coming months. Anyone buying eight pints of any Brakspear ale, such as Brakspear Bitter or Oxford Gold, will be able to claim a free pair of smart striped socks, embellished with the iconic Brakspear bee.

To receive their pair of socks, customers simply ask for a collector card from a participating Brakspear pub, fill it with eight stamps - one for every pint of Brakspear ale they buy - and, once complete, post it, or email a photo of it to socks@ brakspear.co.uk to redeem.

Brakspear Chief Executive Tom Davies said: “Everyone loves a cheerful pair of socks and we’re confident our customers are going to

love brightening up their look with these, thanks to their bold colours and distinctive Brakspear branding.

“A few summers ago we offered a Brakspear boater as a gift with purchase on our ales and very quickly everyone in Henley seemed to be wearing one, so we’re expecting similar success with this offer to dress feet rather than heads!”

The offer is running until stocks last and customers can claim up to four pairs of socks with completed collector cards.

Thirty-four Brakspear pubs are taking part in the sock promotion, most in the company’s heartland around Henley-on-Thames, but also including sites in Wiltshire, London and the South Coast.

All participating pubs are listed on the dedicated website: www.brakspear.co.uk/socks
