The Dressage in the Hill Country


Spring Fling Series, held at Dripping Springs Ranch Park April 13-14, featured over 130 rides in 2 days, despite quite a storm. Penny Reeves and her staff and volunteers worked hard, as always. I’ll Be Your Huckleberry rocked to two Series championships, The Sr title with Rebecca Wallace and the Open title with Laura Robinson. Galileo won the Jr title with Maya Bissett. of Champagne won the Sweepstakes and Open Race at the Diamonds and Dirt Barrel horse Classic, posting the fastest time of the entire event and earning checks totaling $14,275. The event was held April 1-7 at Brazos Valley Expo and offered the largest barrel horse futu- rity purse in the state.
