NavaRio Ranch kicked off its first-ever Ranch Horse Summer Series on April 13th in Caldwell with 29 exhibitors braving hail and high winds.

The Baker Family, of Ban-


dera, recently donated an additional $100,000 in Rebecca Harrison Baker’s memory to the American Paint Horse Foundation’s Capital Campaign, bringing their total do- nations to $300,000 since 2014. Known as a passionate member who enjoyed riding and showing Paint Horses, the APHA will name a portion of its new headquarters in Fort Worth in memory of Baker.

lege’s Stock Horse Teamwon the 2019 American Stock Horse Asso- ciation Collegiate National Division 1 Championship title April 12-13 at Nolan County Coliseum in Sweet- water. The team, coached by Cathy Luse, included Kyra Bonik, Josh Briggs, Addie Coutts, Rietta Du- furrena, Morgan Merritt, Reece Rosenaur, Sawyer Sanders, Simo- nis, Allison Smith, Monty Sperry, and Lexi Thomas. Dufurrena, on Pistols Little Pepto, was HP in the Collegiate Ltd Non Pro Division, and Sperry, on Hallmarks Tess, was HP in the Novice Division.

saddle up and ride. Bar Double G Quarter Horses of Wolfe City, Texas, is hosting a few events at Top Rail Cowboy Church in Greenville. The re- cently held 4 person penning rounded out the month of March activities. With four riders, four cows, four different pens, and a three minute time clock the race is on. With the first place team knocking it out with a time just under a minute to the fifth place team at around minute twenty one/two seconds it happens fast!
