New company set up after TAB Derby advice

A member of The Alternative Board Derby has been recognised for achieving her 2018 ambition of setting up her own company. Holly Daulby of Derby-

based Honest Communications was among many recipients of awards at the special TAB member event.

Holly said: “I joined TAB in

2018 and the support from TAB’s Jimi Ball and my peer board helped me to take the leap and set up my own company in November. With the help of TAB I’ve now got big plans for 2019.” TAB Derby’s Managing

Director Julian Smith said: “I am proud of the fantastic work of all our members in supporting each other in their business and personal spheres. “Nobody has all the answers

to life’s difficulties but our members have found that a problem shared often leads to a solution faster than ploughing on alone.” The success of TAB is not

just down to sound business support – it focuses members on realising personal goals. Julian added: “Some awards

were given to people who set out with ambitions for themselves and their family as well as their company. “They have found themselves with a much more rounded life thanks to TAB membership. “Jimi, our TAB Derby

facilitator, has given us an extra dimension. TAB Derby is already the biggest of the 35 franchises in the country but, in 2019, we are looking for two more associates to grow TAB even further in the Midlands.”
