young people to raise and achieve their aspirations through in-school delivery days, industry visits, work placements and Skills Fest.
I am also pleased to say our successful bid for a new University Technical College (UTC) for Doncaster will transform STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) education in the local area and offer our young people with the opportunity to work in some of the borough’s fastest growing sectors. As our workforce ages there is also a massive need for continuous upskilling; we regularly run continuing professional development opportunities including Launchpad workshops for entrepreneurs, An Hour Well Spent to share best practice, and accredited export training seminars. The above is just a snapshot of what we, working
