Inner Image Thermography Celebrates 12 Years Serving Maine

I

nner Image Clinical Thermography opened its doors at the very end of 2006 with the mission to bring thermography (Digital

Infrared Thermal Imaging) to the women of Maine. The business now serves 14 towns and cities within the state with an eye to further expansion.

The twelfth year saw a lot of change for the business. The fi rst

being the rebranding to Inner Image Health Screening and then the expansion of services to include NES Health. Inner Image now employs two people, Michelle Gleason, who manages the offi ce and Tracy Ross, a certifi ed clinical thermographer, who is perform- ing the majority of the thermal imaging.

Ingrid LeVasseur, owner and founder, is appreciative of the

women who were the early adopters of thermography. She says, “They gave me the faith to continue though the early years. It’s such an honor to provide this needed service to women (and the occasional man) all over the state”.

Inner Image Health Screening is located at 5 Fundy Rd. in Falmouth and can be contacted at 207.781.6060, or info@myinnerimage.com or www.myinnerimage.com

Presence of Mind Wellness Center Opens Second Location

resence of Mind Wellness Center is proud to an- nounce their expansion in to the Saco community.

P

Just over two years ago Presence of Mind Meditation

and Life Coach Studio opened its doors in Portland just above the State Theatre. In those two years the space has offered several dif- ferent meditation groups, mindfulness workshops, sound healing journeys, and featured workshops and presenters. Currently, MJ Allen (owner) is offering group classes and workshops on Friday afternoons and weekends. There is a movement therapist and a life coach utilizing the space during the other times of the week.

About a year after Presence of Mind Studio in Portland opened, MJ began to think about expanding her location and be- ing a little closer to home; she began to look at available spaces. The space at the Mill 4 building in Saco caught her eye when she was originally planning the Presence of Mind Studio business. So, it seemed natural for her to revisit that as an option.

The Mill 4 has everything MJ could ask for in a space…high

ceilings, brick walls, free and on-site parking, and easy to fi nd right next door to the Saco Transportation (Amtrak) Station. The negotia- tions with the building manager began. In November, the lease agreement and blueprints were formalized with construction start- ing in December. The projected opening date is January 15, 2019.

The name is changing slightly to Presence of Mind Wellness Center to encompass the expanded services offered in the Saco location. Massage therapy, reiki, wellness and health coaching, along with several different types of yoga will be offered. MJ is a certifi ed recovery coach and will be offering recovery coaching and is exploring some alternative mindful recovery therapies as well.
