Emergency Preparedness The Emergency Prepared-
ness committee met on Thurs- day, September 6th at the Flori- da Strawberry Festival grounds in Plant City.
It was the con-
sensus of the committee mem- bers present that we should provide a clearinghouse service to the Federation member fairs for topics like Security planning, Incident Action Plans, video surveillance techniques and planning, and available training opportunities for every- one. We are looking at means to disseminate the information to interested parties in the most economical and efficient ways possible. These may include use of the Federation web site, computer bulletin board access for members, and distribution during the convention and summer work- shops. The committee will continue to investigate best prac- tices to get the information out to member fairs and we antici- pate rolling out our plan of action by the Winter board meet- ing in December. Anyone with ideas about other information they would like
to have available can send an e-mail to either of the Co- Chairs for the committee, listed below.

legend-DAIRY "mural" Photo says a thousand words! FAIRCRACKER-FALL 2018
On June 15th, Florida Dairy Farmers put up a “mural” of their own at the Miami Chil- dren’s Museum, with the help of many small hands. Over 1,800 were in attend- ance at the museum that night, helping to color in a picture of SunnyBell and her friends. The mural even comes complete with the Undeniably Dairy logo on the milk truck!
