They had created piece of architecture with a real point of difference – lots of angles, and not many of them square, so they called in designers Darren Genner and Simona Castagna from Minosa to deliver a statement kitchen to match the architecture. The main kitchen was designed in front of the scullery. Luckily a straight wall was occupying the area for the designer to run the full length with joinery storage and cooktop. Adjacent to this, the island unit was added, giving the clients a clear visual to both the front and the rear of the home. At the island, the Minosa carried the theme of architectural angles into the overall island design. Compound mitres and angles were clad with Petra Grey stone to brilliant effect, delivering the real statement aspect of the kitchen.

Elsewhere in the scheme, the house is bright with large open voids and skylights fi lling the interior with plenty of natural sunlight. The dark stone panels, Black Dekton Sirrus benchtops, and rich veneer was chosen for the doors in order to ground the kitchen and make it a real focal point in the home.
