Over the course of the full day, participants will have access to these experts, as well as opportunities to explore the coastal beauty of Maine, and the culinary delights of Portland. Yarmouth, Maine Welcomes Naturopath Sarah Buck

D

r. Sarah Buck is a new natu- ropathic doctor practicing in Yarmouth, Maine. She loves naturopathic medicine because of its signature blending of the science and art of medicine. Dr. Buck enjoys drawing upon her strong science background and from her training to help with diagnoses and to guide her therapeutic choices. She also relishes

the more creative process of working together with the patient to create a unique treatment plan. Each patient requires a blend of select therapies, and Dr. Buck uses combinations of botanical medicine, nutritional medicine, pharmaceutical medicine, natu- ropathic hydrotherapy, counseling, and homeopathy to treat her patients. No two patients will have the same treatment plan, as no two patients are exactly alike.

Gastrointestinal health, sleep, and autoimmune health are a few of her areas of interest, although Dr. Buck is a bit of an omni- vore when it comes to conditions. She is passionate about fi nding what works for each patient to make them feel healthy and vital.

Dr. Buck’s life outside of the offi ce is most often spent with

family. Stepping into nature daily helps to ground Dr. Buck. She spends time walking her dog; rolling in the sand, grass, or snow with her daughter; casual hikes, skiing, or bike rides with her hus- band; and tending to her outdoor or indoor gardens (depending on the weather!). Dr. Buck also practices yoga in many different forms from vinyasa to kundalini and asanas to pranayama. She offers workshops periodically throughout the year to support her commu- nity and her patient’s health autonomy. It is Dr. Buck’s belief that each person holds the keys to their own vibrant health, and she enjoys passing on the knowledge that she has acquired to those seeking to restore or support their own well-being.

You can fi nd Dr. Buck online at sarahbucknd.com where you can read her monthly Doctor’s Diary, schedule an appointment, and learn about upcoming workshops. Look for her on Facebook and Instagram as well. Dr. Buck’s offi ce is located at 224 E. Main St. in Yarmouth where she sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can also book appointments by calling 207.200.6597. See ad on page 17.
