Accessories Ergomotion To Showcase Motion Bedroom Furniture In High Point

By Elaina Hundley Positioning itself as a sleep technology ex- pert, Ergomotion is set to showcase its cut- ting-edge motion bedroom furniture lineup at the fall High Point Market. By featuring bed bases designed specifically for bedroom fur- niture groups, the brand is eager to help re- tailers capture add-on sales without needing to add floor space to their showrooms. “High Point remains a key market for us as we continue to grow our presence in the furniture retail channel. Many furniture re- tailers have not taken full advantage of the growth in the adjustable base category be- cause a large portion of their sleep product sales revolve around furniture groups, not just selling mattresses,” said Johnny Griggs, chief operating officer of Ergomotion. “So, when the consumer saw an adjustable base in the mattress department, but loved the furniture group, there was not, until now, a good option for adding an adjustable base to the furniture. We have found that solution and we believe the opportunity for significant retail sales growth for that dealer.” The Contour Pure Slim will take center stage in the Ergomotion showroom. This mo- tion base features the proprietary Extension

Deck Technology, which extends as the head of the bed rises to minimize mattress bridg- ing and reduce compression of the sleeper’s midsection. The base also touts head and foot articulation and zero-gravity positioning, while a one-touch button on the wireless remote restores the bed to the flat position. For added convenience, the Contour Pure Slim needs no wall clearance space, includes more than 25 cubic feet of under-bed stor- age space and is now compatible with Ama- zon’s Alexa.
