Richard Blackwood, former Eastenders star, actor, comedian and rapper, will lead the cast of Aladdin at the Hazlitt Theatre this December, as he plays the Genie for Kent audiences.
The Hazlitt Theatre's 2018 programme is full of bigger and better productions in comparison to years gone by, so it couldn't let things slip when it came to the celebrity of its in house Pantomime. Richard Blackwood will be a fantastic member of the cast and be part of a production that promises to entertain, delight and wow the visiting crowds.

The lucky winner will be able to board the newly restored B1 Mayflower steam hauled train* from one of many pick-up points in Kent – Charing, Maidstone East, Borough Green & Wrotham or Bromley South before taking their seats in the elegantly festively decorated Premier Dining carriage where you will be served champagne breakfast on the outbound journey and on the return will enjoy a 4 course evening meal.
The train will start off steam hauled from Ashford, skirting London before heading out into open countryside to Alton. Once here passengers can choose to either make the short road transfer by coach (30 mins) to the beautiful Cathedral city of Winchester for their fabulous Christmas Market, recognised as one of the best in Europe. With a variety of festive food, as well as local crafts such as painters, jewellers and glass makers there will be plenty to see and do as you walk through the market with its pretty wooden chalets. Alternatively you can stay on the train to the pretty market town of Alresford for a magical carol service at the beautiful St. Johns Church.
