Snowdogs Discover Ashford is an enchanting trail of 35 beautifully crafted, giant Snowdog sculptures, alongside 19 small Snowpups created by local schools, placed throughout the streets and open spaces of Ashford. Inspired by the much-loved novel and animated film, The Snowman and The Snowdog, each individually designed sculpture will help to create unforgettable moments and memories for everyone, and creating a festive feel in the lead up to Christmas. After the display, each Snowdog sculpture will be auctioned by Pilgrims Hospices to help raise funds for the local charity. You can pick up a free trail


Heart of Kent Hospice, Preston Hall, Aylesford


Enjoy a night out with a difference with your family and friends at the Moonlit Walk 2018. Take on this fun evening 8 mile circular walk to remember loved ones or to support your local Hospice. Walk through Aylesford, Larkfield and Leybourne, stopping for refreshments at the West Malling charity shop. All walkers will receive a Moonlit Walk 2018 T-shirt plus pre-walk entertainment from 7pm including music, face painting and the opportunity to purchase bubbles. Adults £20. Back for its eighth year, the Real Ale & Cider festival will see the whole railway come alive with some wonderful local brews! The event will have 160+ Real Ales, 25+ Green Hop Beers, Key-Keg/ Cask Beers, Belgian Beers & 30+ Ciders. The main festival takes place in the railway’s Victorian Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West Station but continues at Groombridge and Eridge Stations. Entrance to the festival is gained by purchasing a starter pack for £10 which includes a non-refundable souvenir Glass along with £7 of tokens to purchase beers. Prepare to be spooked this Halloween. Listen to ghostly tales in the Ghost Catcher’s Lair, follow the pumpkin trail in the grounds and get spooked learning about the ghosts of Hever in the Castle. Create a ghost puppet in a free creepy craft workshop or decorate a ghoulish biscuit (small additional charge). Prizes for the scariest costumes
