WITHYBED POETS are a group of poetry writers who meet in Withybed Green to share their poems and write together. They are open to anyone who enjoys writ- ing and sharing poetry. They love reading their poems to audiences, which they do at the monthly Acoustic Roots in Alve- church, but also for libraries, churches, community groups and festivals. FORGE MILL Creative Textile Group (for- merly Forge Mill Embroidery & Textile Group) are a friendly group of enthu- siastic local crafters, both experienced and beginners, who meet weekly on Fri mornings at Beoley Village Hall. Various techniques and media are used to create textile artwork, such as printing, dyeing, hand and machine embroidery, along with fabric manipulation.
