ALVECHURCH COMMUNITY Choir meets at 7.30pm on Mondays in Alvechurch Village Hall, though on the 2nd Monday each month they move to a different ven- ue, usually Alvechurch Social Club. They will meet every Monday in October. The choir is an open access singing group; new members of all abilities are welcome. It is part of a charity called Everybody Let’s Sing and is committed to bringing music to a wide community, including a regular choir it runs at The Lawns care home. The choir sings gospel, folk and popular songs from all ages and loves to perform for local occasions. They are preparing for a big Concert for Peace at Alvechurch School on Nov 9 as part of the Armistice commemorations: look out for details.
