Matravers is pleasantly situated in the centre of Westbury. The school buildings are a delightful combination of traditional brick builds alongside a number of recent additional blocks which include:


• A specialised Art, Design and Photography block;


• A Dance and Music Centre; • A Sports Hall; • A new Fitness Suite; • Recently refurbished Food Court facilities;


• A state-of-the art dedicated Sixth-Form Centre;


• Outdoor conservation areas, performance spaces and sports facilities;


• A large Learning Resources Centre and dedicated Senior Library;


• Toilet refurbishments; • a 4 court astro-turf facility.

We are fortunate that Matravers is a Priority School Building Programme School which means that a new 28 classroom Science, maths, Technology, Computing and general teaching classroom block will be built over the next 12 months on site.


Further to this a significant refurbishment will take place in our main block and also in our Sports Village development to provide world-class facilities for our community.
