Sports Education


The Physical Education Department organises school teams and clubs for all ages in all of the main sports. Practices occur daily. Inter-tutor competitions run regularly throughout the year.


We offer all the traditional sports alongside some more unusual sports including:


Hockey Table-tennis Shooting Archery


In addition to this we also provide for a range of specialised and bespoke sports, depending on the aptitudes of students. This includes our own Equestrian Team which competes regularly.


PE Kits & Policy


The Matravers Physical Education department ensures that all students have access to a balanced curriculum. A student can be assessed as a performer, official or as a coach.
