‘Jeux d’Enfants’, Boccara Gallery Sourced from an aristocratic family,


this rare 17th-century Mortlake tapestry is in perfect condition. Its vivid colours represent nine children playing and squabbling in a palace garden.


Portrait miniature of William Holman Hunt, Ellison Fine Art Holman Hunt (1827-1910) was one of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Group. Painted by his assistant, Edward Robert Hughes, this miniature has an excellent provenance as it originally belonged to Hunt’s former nurse and trustee, Emma Stone. This museum-quality piece has been exhibited at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Birmingham Museum.

The hamper comprises flasks, a sugar tin, butter jar, plated cutlery, wicker covered glass flask, enamel food boxes, enamel plates, cups, saucers, milk flask, and drink cups, all contained within a black Rexine covered case. Circa 1920.
