Glenstone Museum in Potomac is a museum of modern and contemporary art integrated into more than 100 acres of rolling pasture and unspoiled woodland in Montgomery County less than 15 miles from the heart of Washington, DC. The museum’s expansion will open on October 4, 2018 with a new museum building known as the Pavilions, an arrival hall, entry pavilion, bookstore and two cafes and an additional 130 acres of landscape.


The Pavilions will significantly expand the indoor exhibition space from 9,000- to 59,000-square feet, and will feature single-artist installations as well as changing exhibitions. Glenstone will be accepting group tours larger than 15 starting in the spring of 2019.
