Village What’s On
The autumn season starts on Sep 10 at the Social Club, then each Monday at the Village Hall. The choir is an open access singing group; new members of all abilities are welcome. It is part of a charity called Everybody Let’s Sing and is committed to bringing music to a wide community, including a regular choir it runs at The Lawns care home. The choir sings gospel, folk and popular songs from all ages and loves to perform for local oc- casions. TARDEBIGGE CHURCH choir is seeking new recruits! The choir, based at St Bar- tholomew’s (B60 3AH) is struggling with declining numbers due to age and health, but still sings in four parts at morning

THE ANNUAL Tardebigge Show, based in and around St Bartholom- ew’s Church (B60 3AH), takes place this year on Sat Sep 8 from 1.30pm with plenty of fun for all the family – and admission is free! As well as the traditional Fruit,
Flower and Vegetable Show in the church, followed by a produce auction, there will also be a variety of stalls including white elephant,
plants, cakes, books and a tombola, plus a prize draw, refreshments, and amusements for children. The show includes categories such as wines, jams, cakes, pastries and photography, as well as a junior section.
