Review Just William’s Luck The Garage, Norwich

Just William’s Luck is a rather charming short play, adapted from the Richmal Crompton novel for centre stage by the fair hands as well as genius minds of Jonathan Massey and Matthew Barnes.

The lights go up in a not so secret Gnites of The Square Table den, where heroes are played and made, with loads of laughs as William, the Outlaws…and Violet Elizabeth start their adventure of righting wrongs small and big.

Getting a sneak peak of the mastery behind this novel text leaping onto The Garage stage was nothing more than marvellous. With the entire performance being played out by 5 fabulous thespians and an array of phenomenal props.

Shedload Theatre are debuting Just William’s Luck in the sexiest purple belly that anyone could ever set eyes on The Iron Belly, Underbelly. Which can be found at the Edinburgh Fringe festival throughout the month of August, setting the wheels in motion for their UK and European tour of various theatres. Nawaza

Lollards Pit Norwich

There is a gem of a garden with a secret at the back of Lollards Pit on Riverside Road. Did you know that during 15th and 16th century people were burned there for their religious beliefs. A warm welcome or what. Anybody who was anti clerical was a Lollard. Don’t believe me go to Lollards Pit the information is inside and the garden is where the pit was. Fortunately they don’t do that now but you can enjoy a pint, glass of wine or even a light snack.
