ProfessionalMUANatalieRiccardi offers her expert advicewhen planning yourmake-up for your big day
Beautiful, glowing skin is a beauty trend that I’mconfidentwillNEVER go out of style! Fresh looking and light, this is the ideal base forBridal especially and as the season is upon us, I’msharing some ofmy favourite tried and tested products for the ultimate glow!
ENHANCER DROPS Dewdrops are used primarily to enhance the skins natural glowand are so popular right now!One product I absolutely love using is theMarc JacobsDewDrops CoconutGel Highlighter, (£32, John Lewis). It’s
golden-peach formulamakes it suitable for EVERY skin tone and is especially great for thosewith a flat or dull complexion in need of a little extrawarmth and glow!Mix one small pumpwith your favourite foundation or use alone as a face and body highlighter.
GLOWINGBASE Afantastic foundationwhich I love to usewith the Marc JacobsDew Drops is theNars SheerGlow Foundation,
(£33,
www.nars
cosmetics.co.uk). Applywith a stippling brush for a light coverage orwith a compact buffing brush or sponge for a buildable, mediumcoverage. This foundation is designed for a normal to dry skin type and contains complexion brightening propertieswhich, when used dailywill help to gradually improve the look and texture of the skin. Perfect for the summermonths!
HYDRATINGPRIMER Asmost people are nowaware, a primer is used to smooth and prep the skin aftermoisturising and before applyingmake-up. Practicing thiswill also help
to ensure make-up goes on
smoother and lasts
longer. The LauraGeller Spackle Hydrating Under Makeup Primer, (£25, Debenhams)
is a 2-in-1 moisturiser and primer and is an absolute
MUSTHAVE inmy kit! I use this on thosewith a normal to dry skin type and due to its light and absorbent texture, find that itworks especially well onmature skin. I personally like to apply this using theReal
Techniques Stippling brush, (£10.99, Superdrug) but you can also use the tip of your fingers to apply instead if you prefer.
DEWY FINISH SETTING SPRAY One ofmy favourite and trusted setting sprays for hydrating the skin is theNYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray, (£7,Boots). It’s so hydrating and refreshing, yet so light that itwon’t leave your skin drenched andwith oily patches. I like to spray 2-3 pumps at a good distance, ensuring the entire face is covered.
