six-member city council, and Tuesday Rhodes serves as deputy recorder/treasur- er. Lakeview provides police services with a two-person department under Police Chief David Hotchkiss, and provides building services with Building Inspector Maynard Gadway. Lakeview has a 1 percent city sales tax
which is part of the city, county and state total sales tax of 9.5 percent. Water service is available through the
Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority, under the management of Jan Burch, at 29 Howard Creek Road, Midway.
