’m sure like many of you, I was saddened at the passing of Stephen Hawking. When you look at a man who was given a grim prognosis at the age of 22, and
went on to literally inter-stellar heights in his pursuit of knowledge and understanding. It does make you think what can we achieve if we put our minds to it. Never doubt yourself.
Self belief is an important quality and many musicians need dollops of that as do those wonderful people who run our music venues. We’ve spoken to Nerina Pallot ahead of her gig at The Waterfront on April 21st. Norwich is blessed with some great music venues and we have spoken to UEA/Waterfront and Brickmakers/ B2 for this edition, so get an insight to what makes them tick. Festival season kicks off, as ever, with Norfolk and Norwich Festival and the procession continues from there. See our Festival guide on page 14.
