OUT THERE
Forest Live 2018 Tetford Forest
But if you’re dizzy with choice, or need to delve deeper into some of the act names that you’ve never heard of before, NNF have curated their own ‘Festival Journeys’, which will guide your planning. Tey have a number of events under the banner, ‘Inspiring Women’, which has acts traversing music, from the West African feminist super-group, Amazones d’Afrique, to literature with a talk from punk matriarch, Viv Albertine on her latest book. Tere’s also a focus on movement with their ‘Let’s Dance’ journey. Audiences will be thrilled by choreographer, Hofesh Shechter’s “heart-stopping” show, ‘Grand Finale’ and you’ll get a chance to put on your own dancing shoes with Te Spiegeltent’s various Ragroof Tea Dances. With a number of free events, and plenty of family-friendly fun to boot, make sure that 11th-27th May is in your diary.
