Car company drives campaign for cancer

A Bristol vehicle leasing company will donate £50 for each car or van it leases to Bristol businesses and residents in 2018 to a local national cancer charity.

Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions put the wheels in

motion to unite with Penny Brohn UK after hearing how the charity’s integrative Bristol Whole Life Approach supports people and families facing the disease.

Bluepoppy managing director Andrew Starr said:

“We were incredibly moved and motivated to see how Penny Brohn supports people to live well as they face a disease that changes lives. “I know how devastating cancer can be, so we

approached the worthy charity wanting to do our part.” With over 37 years’ experience, Penny Brohn understands that cancer impacts everything and the number affected is increasing. Its Bristol Whole Life Approach supports people with cancer and close supporters to participate in their health and wellbeing, before, during or after treatment. Penny Brohn corporate partnerships manager Lewis

in which we must raise over £2.5m to reach the thousands of people locally and nationally needing our life-changing support.” Bluepoppy, founded by Paul Watts-Barnes in 2003,

Bartercard branding throughout the season, and will hope their commercial success is matched on field. The club became a Bartercard member in 2017, allowing them access to over 50,000 cardholders. Philip Ciniglio, CEO of Bartercard, said: “We love nothing more than supporting our members. This is a partnership that benefits both parties greatly. We will be proud to have our branding on display around the stadium on match days.
