Milton Keynes is on the way to becoming a Gigabit City, with ultrafast connectivity and smart city technology now readily available. Managed communications provider dbfb is at the centre of delivering the
infrastructure Milton Keynes needs and has revealed several exciting developments to ensure the professional service is delivered where and when required. The firm, which also specialises in business mobiles, connectivity and is a
leader in business cloud-deployed technology, opened a new office in December in Challenge House, Bletchley, headed by Jean Gowin, dbfb’s new MK Relationship Director. Jean is well known in Milton Keynes through PR and marketing agency Jeanius Consulting, which she founded four years ago. But the opportunity to join dbfb was, she says, too good to refuse. Managing director Simon Pickering said: “We’re excited about expanding
into Milton Keynes and delivering our tailored communication solutions and service ethos that we’ve built up over 20 years. We’ve recruited Jean because she is respected in the business community.” The decision to expand the Northampton-based business into Milton
Keynes follows 10 months of familiarisation with the city and its business community and a £2m investment in the area. Its new office will have an initial staff of five, rising to around 20 over the
coming year.
