Foundation Reining Training Centre “Better trained horses to western riders.”

tario Horseman’s Society Annual Awards Banquet held Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Melbourne. The $1000.00 Scholarship win- ner was Brianna Berdan. Brianna is currently attending school at On Edge Hair Academy where she is specializing in hairdressing. Since the Scholarship program started in the year 2000, 40
youth have received scholarships totaling $22,500. In the past, a minimum of two $500.00 scholarships have been presented, how- ever in January 2015, Mid-Western Ontario Horseman’s Society received a large donation from the sale of land owned by Lambton County Saddle Club. Mid-West is very appreciative of this sizeable donation. From this donation the funds awarded will be a minimum of two $1000.00 scholarships. Number of scholarships presented is determined by the number of successful applications received. Scholarships are available only to members of Mid-Western On- tario Horseman’s Society. Youth aged 17 to 23 from horse clubs in southwestern Ontario are encouraged to become a Mid-Western Ontario member and submit a scholarship application.
