launch, the site had 3,000 subscribers and served almost 68,000 students in its first year. Representing Bermuda, Kevin Miller ‘16 competed in the Carifta Games in April, in Nassau Bahamas. Kevin placed 9th in the Mens Under-20 High Jump.

Over the Summer, Isabella Benson ’16 ventured to Grumentum, Italy, on an archaeological dig. Isabella has been drawn to archaeology since she was young and watched Indiana Jones hunt for treasure. She was also inspired by all of the artifacts on display at the Natural History Museum in New York City. Isabella loves how archaeology “tells stories” and allows the archaeologist to find purpose in the artifacts found from centuries before. Her favourite part of the trip was uncovering a coin from the 1st century AD during Nero’s reign as Emperor. Her biggest challenge was learning how to remove one layer of dirt at a time, with the prospect of it containing a coin or fragment of glass. Isabella hopes to specialise in Forensic and Osteoarchaeology at the University of Cardiff.
