When you revise your programming, what is one program that your members would insist on keeping?


W


e have a number of popu- lar programs and instructors at our facility, but if one pro-


gram were to be selected I believe our members would insist on keeping our Strong Seniors classes. This is a variety exercise class taught by a brilliant in- structor who has an incredible rapport with the participants. The class is offered three days per


week and has an average attendance of at least 30 participants, which is fantastic for a community the size of Thunder Bay. Strong Seniors is aimed at older participants who want to con- tinue being active while increasing their fitness level. I swear that these participants put


the “strong” in Strong Seniors. Two of the classes are bootcamp-style using a wide range of tools from stability balls

and respected by her peers, partici- pants and our community at large, as evidenced by her perennial nomina- tion as one of Thunder Bay’s Top Three Fitness Instructors. We are very lucky to have such a


strong team of instructors who make our programs fun, exciting and effec- tive. Having a great team to run these programs is what keeps our members coming back and our programs re- maining in high demand.
