ATMOSPHERE KANIFUSHI
The staff are what make this island a lovely experience; they go all out to make your stay a memorable one. The island boasts Just Veg, a fabulous vegetarian restaurant considered number one in the Maldives. As a meat eater I was sceptical, but actually came away not realising I hadn’t eaten meat! The Teppanyaki is also a
fabulous experience with a lovely setting above the water. They offer an all-inclusive and platinum all-inclusive package as do Kuramathi and I’d always recommend the platinum!
TRANSFERS Depending on which island you’re staying on, a seaplane transfer might be preferable to a boat transfer – quicker, more scenic and less bumpy! Be warned that at times, your luggage may travel after you in another plane, it depends on the weight in the plane!
WEATHER Two distinct seasons: the dry season begins in November and runs through to April; the wet or rainy season begins in May and lasts through to October. However, all year round you’ll enjoy sunshine, which is why it’s so popular!
