Name: Steve Brown Company: Invictus Utilities Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Tell us about yourself I started life as a chef in the Midlands but quickly moved across into sales, working as a Territory Manager and Sales Manager for household names such as Crown Paints, Cuprinol and would you believe... Pretty Polly Tights. I had a serious illness for three years and
left sales to work with deaf people and deaf children and became a registered qualified Sign Language Interpreter, something I continue to do today alongside Invictus. I feel fortunate to have met some amazing
people over the years interpreting and have had contact with many areas of life most people do not see. During that time I have realised the plight of homelessness and specifically how ex-Forces personnel struggle and many end up with very little help and support. Hence, Invictus.
What is Invictus? Invictus is a dedicated business solutions brokerage, set up to help business save time and money on all their essential services. Invictus uses a business model that is turning the utility market upside down to create funding for charities, as opposed to funding for staff and executives. As the company grows, so too will the amount of funding we can plough back into the community. Primarily, Invictus Utilities has
medically discharged due to a knee injury. We’re unique, dynamic, and wholly-
focused on getting our clients the very best deals available. Best of all, we do this while raising much-needed funds for armed forces charities including Home for Heroes and the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Families Association. (SSAFA)

The management team are using their years of experience within the utility industry and business sectors to create a business model which is unique in the market place, we have chosen to concentrate on the business sector as we believe that business owners would love to save money with the knowledge they are helping local ex-service personnel rebuild their lives for themselves and their families.
