Chamber Awards is your opportunity to be recognised on a national level


We have recently made a numbers of changes to our awards programme, so that we can realign our awards with the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) Business Awards. These are at the very pinnacle of


such awards, recognising business categories across the whole of the UK, and increase the chances of Devon businesses being judged worthy of BBC recognition and a national award. In order to dovetail


• To provide recognised businesses with the opportunity to enter the British Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.


All entries will be self-nominated and there will an independent judging panel for each category, so it’s now time to see which category or categories you want to enter your business in!


‘In order


with the BCC timeline, our entry period is now open. Entries can be made online, with a closing date of 16 February 2018. Following a judging period by independent business leaders, we will announce the winners and runners-up on 30 March 2018 and not at a business dinner event, as in previous years.


The awards have four key intentions in mind: • To celebrate extraordinary business


• To recognise the very best businesses through the awards


• To showcase businesses in Devon

As the accredited Chamber of Commerce for Devon, winners of the 2018 awards and potentially those that were shortlisted, will be invited to enter the British Chamber of Commerce awards in April 2018, providing regional businesses with the opportunity to be recognised on a national level.
