The Upton and Lytchett Allotment Association (ULMAA)
If you are a resident in Upton or Lytchett Minster and would like an allotment, we have a few vacancies for ½ plots. Our fees are very reasonable and we have regular coffee mornings and events to support our projects which improve facilities on the site.
This year we were awarded Allotments of the Year by SSE in Bloom, a very big achievement as only one award for SSE is made. We were extremely delighted to receive this award which is a refl ection of all the hard work and commitment by our volunteers on the site, and the committee.

Our projects for this year have been to get a regular supply of free manure delivered to the site, improve the tracks leading to the allotments and encourage water recycling. We have purchased a new mower and other equipment by raising money through our social events, whilst also donating £150 to the 1000 faces appeal. We are also awaiting a Tesco Bags for Life grant award decision so we can refurbish our solar panels.
