Lytchett Minster School
During September and October we have been delighted to showcase Lytchett Minster School at our Main School and Sixth Form Open Evenings.
We have a beautiful school site with many modern, state-of-the-art facilities which cannot fail to impress our visitors. However, it must be said that the real stars of the show were our students whose enthusiasm and pride in the school really shone forth and gave our visitors a wonderful insight into life at Lytchett.
Nurturing students and helping them to achieve the very best they can is very much at the forefront of everything we do here at Lytchett. This was refl ected at some of our recent events.
We recently celebrated the achievements of our talented sportsmen and women in our annual Sports Presentation Evening. Ex-England rugby union player Scott Bemand gave an inspirational talk before awarding medals to students who had represented the school during 2016-17 (pictured).
Students attended a careers fair earlier this month giving them the opportunity to speak directly with a wide range of local employers to explore a plethora of different career paths open to them.
Our Music and Drama Departments are busily preparing for the much anticipated school production of Beauty and the Beast. Over 185 students will be involved in the cast and crew as we put on three performances on the evenings of Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th November.
