October 20 – 22 7th CAMRA Real Ale & Cider Festival and Autumn Diesel Gala Spa Valley Railway, Tunbridge Wells Back for its seventh year, the Real Ale & Cider festival will see the whole railway come alive with some wonderful local brews. The event will have 160+ real ales, 25+


on Call is a walkabout show that will start at The Pantiles, encouraging members of the public to


take part as they travel throughout the town. Circle of Two’s Bambolina and Dodo will present a short show at 11.45am and provide a spectacular finale on The Pantiles at 4pm. Something for all ages.

October 20 Michael Portillo – Life: A Game of Two Halves Revelation, St Mary the Virgin, Ashford It took Michael Portillo little more than 10 years to get a seat in the Commons and then rise in power and esteem to a point where he was a favoured leader of his party and possible future prime minister. A historian at heart, he has used a Victorian railway guide to take millions of viewers on a historical voyage of discovery throughout the UK, Ireland, the USA and Europe.
