October 24 Taster Bushcraft Cobtree Manor Park, Aylesford Enjoy a bushcraft taster session, testing out your wilderness skills. Organised by Medway Valley Countryside Partnership, this is a family event aimed at children aged five and above, from 10am to noon. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink and wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing for the weather.

Halloween High Jinx Tenterden Town Station, Tenterden, Kent Take a spine-tingling ride on the Fright Night Express on the Kent & East Sussex Railway. Visit the railway from
4:30pm for a Fright Night workshop, including pumpkin modelling and face-painting. Families are encouraged to come in fancy dress, the
scarier the better. Spooky music and an amazing live firebreather will add to the atmosphere, before everyone boards the Fright Night Express in time for a 6:30pm departure. Children will receive a Munchbox during the journey. Upon arrival at Northiam
station, enjoy a firework display before the return
October 27 – 31 Kent-aminated, Kent Life, Sandling, Maidstone The Zombie Apocalypse is here - the once beautiful sites of Kent Life have been “Kent- aminated”. The familiar buildings have fallen into disarray, the Big Top has been transformed into a medical tent to cope with the ever-growing numbers of casualties, whilst members of staff fight to defend the historic houses from ruin and provide a place of safety for the people of Kent. You and your fellow survivors must gather at the
journey to Tenterden, which will see the train arrive back at the station for approximately 8:15pm. Fright Night fares: adults and children aged three to 15 inclusive, £18. Booking essential.

6.30pm, with guides leaving every 15 minutes. The last guide will leave for the safe zone at 9.30pm. Guides must leave on time for safe passage, so please arrive promptly, 10 minutes before your time slot, with your registration documents. There is a licensed bar available at the safe zone, for those who make it. Over 16s only.
