Read Easy is a not for profi t organisation that recruits, trains and supports volunteers to give individual tuition to adults who struggle with reading.
Read Easy Poole was established two years ago and is helping adults in Poole to learn to read. We have three readers being supported by volunteer coaches in Broadstone.
“It’s the best help I’ve ever had,” says one reader.
“I can now read to my grandchildren, I could never read to my children,” says another reader.
Do you know anyone who would value our support? Are you interested in helping with this worthwhile volunteering opportunity?
The reader meets with the coach twice a week in a public place, such as library, for 30 minutes. We ask that coach and reader commit to working together for six months. Training and support is provided and no previous experience is required.
