13 SEPTEMBER Spectulative by Alexander Geist Norwich Arts Centre
“A little bit Dietrich, a little bit Bowie and all class.” – Electronic Beats
A beloved icon of Berlin’s demi-monde, Alexander Geist is the velvet voice of a morose-disco soul, part Evelyn Waugh hero, part silver screen star. Embracing the dry wit of Morrissey and the synth soundscape of Moroder, he was born for the spotlight. Magnetic, lush, wry, his melodramatic lyrics and insistent melodies, have earned him fans worldwide. Fusing classic-synth pop references with fan adulation, projection and live performance, this is not to be missed. Pay what you can, so no excuses not to be there.
