ISSUE 194

AUG/SEPT 2017

Oh hi Norwich! How’s your summer going? Been sunning yourself by day and doing it on the beach by night I expect, knowing you, with a healthy diet of cocktails and wings. Nice one. Proud of you.

Welcome to your joint August and September issue…this means don’t throw your copy away willy nilly, but keep it, preferably in a cool dark place until its use by date of September 30th. We’ve covered all our usual stuff, and even included events in our listings for both months so keep it to hand, yo.

In this super phat issue you can find out all about the eighth Norwich Body Art Festival which kicks off 19th and 20th August at OPEN – we’ve made a special pull out and everything. Find out all the artists that are inking this year, learn more about the guy who made de Niro’s fake tattoos for Cape Fear and discover what entertainment and shops will be on point at the festival.

We’ve chatted with hot new acts The Amazons, Milk Teeth and VANT, and some classic older gentlemen in the shape of Lambchop, The Psychedelic Furs and Sparks, all of whom play Norwich before Winter comes.

Plus there’s all your usual wonderful caboodle – I Love Norwich, cinema, album reviews, Say Whaaat, crossword, Caught Out and many other treats to see you through until it’s time to dig your scarf and gloves out.

We’ll be putting out a bumper winter issue at the start of October, but in the meantime follow us on Facebook and Twitter, check out our website for daily added fun and reviews, and sign up for our free weekly e-newsletter.

Please check our letter to all you lovely folks on page 3. No boobs, soz, not even for a hefty donation. You’re as cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce.

Peace 10.
