In June, Jonathan Garrett spoke on ‘Breaking the Rules – Container Gardening with a Twist.’ There were containers of all kinds including Jonathan’s beautiful pottery. He gave us lots of ideas for our own gardens. Thank you Jonathan.

On Friday 30th June it was wet, so our 75th


Anniversary Celebration was held in ‘The Grove’ Tessa Burrows for tea, a celebration drink and a special ‘75’ cake with fl owers and vegetables on!


Our mural depicting all aspects of our club from its inception in 1942 to the present day, is now positioned behind the clock tower. Many thanks to local artists Mabel Fraser, Barbara Evans, Muriel
