We currently have a number of troughs and fl owerbeds that are available to sponsor.


This involves paying an annual fee which entitles you to an advertising board. These opportunities exist at various locations throughout the town.


We are also looking to introduce some new planters at the top of Moorland Way on the grass verge either side of the pedestrian crossing and are looking for local sponsors for these.

Be Vigilant on Vandalism


We regretfully report that there has been an increased number of incidents of vandalism and anti-social behaviour in and around the town – destruction of town centre fl ower beds by young people cycling through them, damage to the new graffi ti art panels at the skate park and the noticeboard at the Recreation Ground pulled from the ground to name a few.


If you witness this type of behaviour, please dial 101 (or 999 if the event is happening then and there, or if 101 doesn’t answer after 10 minutes). Let us not rely on the fact that someone else will do this. We need to work together as a community to address this undesirable behaviour, for it is you the tax-payer who ultimately pays the price of repairs.
