Lytchett Minster School
August is a favourite month for students and staff alike; the month when we get our breath back, re-charge our batteries, refl ect on the year that has been and look forward with hope and conviction to the start of the new academic year.
This is also a time of the year when we say goodbye to staff who are retiring or moving on to pastures new. We would like to say a very special thank you to three colleagues in particular who have devoted many years of their lives to Lytchett Minster School and are now looking forward to a well-earned retirement: David Ruston, Deputy Headteacher; Mark Shead, Assistant Headteacher; and Donna Parry, Head of Food. We wish them all the very best for the future.
We would also like to thank our Chair of the PTA, Louise Christopher (pictured), who was recently awarded a Bournemouth Echo ‘Local Hero’ award for ‘Service to the Local Community.’ Louise received her award on Thursday 22nd June at the Miramar Hotel, in Bournemouth. She was
nominated by Headmaster, Andrew Mead, for her tireless fundraising work with the PTA and for setting up and managing the hugely popular and successful second hand uniform shop.
