Maidstone Art Market The Agricultural Hall Barker Road, Maidstone Now in its third year, the market will be turned into an art lover’s paradise for the day. Packed full of stalls, artists, sculptors, knitters, jewellers and other creatives will be selling their wares — or you can simply browse. The Art Market will feature


some 80 stalls with artists who have exhibited nationally and


internationally, from across Kent and the south east, showcasing some of the best contemporary art available. There is also a charity auction, with the proceeds going to two selected charities, Maidstone and Mid Kent MIND and The Foundling Museum. There have been generous donations from artists including Ralph Steadman, Gavin Turk, Stuart Semple (ambassador of Mind), Tessa Farmer and comedian Micky Flanagan. Free event.
