September 2 & 3 Faversham Hop Festival Market Place Faversham A weekend which celebrates Kent’s long history of hop-growing. Various exhibitions and activities, morris dancing, music on three stages and in many of the town’s pubs, this promises to be a lively weekend with fun for all ages.

September 3 Darnley Mausoleum, Cobham Wood Explore this restored 18th- century mausoleum, set in peaceful woodland overlooking the park at
Cobham Hall, the former seat of the Earls of Darnley. Just a few minutes drive from Cobham Wood. Designed by the 18th-
century architect James Wyatt and memorably featured in the BBC's Restoration programme, the mausoleum now belongs to the National Trust and the chapel and crypt are open on the first Sunday of the month from April to September. 12.30-4.30pm.

September 10 Medieval Fair and Heritage weekend Tonbridge Castle, Thousands of people turn out for the popular Dragon Boat race, which is held alongside the town's Medieval Fair — all the excitement of life in 15th century England, with knights, jesters, music, dance and more. Teams with the fastest times go head to head in the final along the River Medway.

September 15 – 17 Faversham Food Festival Market Place Faversham Now in its third year, this is an opportunity for people to enjoy and celebrate the “East Kent Triangle” of Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury. You can expect oysters, fish,
cheeses and a wealth of other fabulous local produce to sample and purchase. There will also be an ale trail, sausage trail, talks and the
presentation of the Local Food Hero Award. New this year is a Teddy Bears’ picnic, Medieval Fayre and Mad Hatters’ Tea Party.

AIR SHOW 8 & 9 July 2017

Featuring a stunning array of model aircraft, helicopters, ships, tank and other vehicles and a show ground packed with traders, offering everything you could possibly need for models. A must go to event for anyone with an interest in this fascinating hobby.
COMBINED OPS 19 & 20 August 2017
This unique event has a variety of vintage and modern aircraft displays, on the ground and in the air. A family event which includes static military vehicles, living history re-enactment groups, arena events, military stalls, children’s entertainment and food stalls.
